The Tullian Valley Trek, often known as the Tullian Lake Trek, is a less-explored yet incredibly scenic trek in the Kashmir region. It offers trekkers an opportunity to experience the unspoiled beauty of Kashmir, with stunning views of alpine meadows, dense forests, and the pristine Tullian Lake.

Itinerary (5-day trek)

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Pahalgam
    • Activities: Explore Pahalgam, acclimatize, and prepare for the trek.
    • Overnight: Stay in Pahalgam.
  2. Day 2: Trek from Pahalgam to Baisaran (5 km)
    • Highlights: Start the trek through beautiful pine forests, reach the meadows of Baisaran, also known as “Mini Switzerland.”
    • Overnight: Camp in Baisaran.
  3. Day 3: Trek from Baisaran to Tullian Valley (10 km)
    • Highlights: Trek through dense forests and open meadows, ascend towards Tullian Valley.
    • Overnight: Camp in Tullian Valley.
  4. Day 4: Trek to Tullian Lake and return to Tullian Valley (8 km)
    • Highlights: Ascend to Tullian Lake, enjoy the serene and pristine environment, and then descend back to Tullian Valley.
    • Overnight: Camp in Tullian Valley.
  5. Day 5: Trek from Tullian Valley to Pahalgam (15 km), drive back to Srinagar
    • Highlights: Retrace steps back to Pahalgam, drive to Srinagar.
    • Overnight: Stay in Srinagar or departure.
